Skincare Steps(Day)

Basic Day Time Skincare Routine:

  1. Cleanser
  2. Toner
  3. Eye Care
  4. Serum
  5. Moisturizer
  6. Sunblock


Step 1. Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Gel, Cleansing Foam or Cleansing Powder

Remove excess dead cells or dirt, clear blocked pores.

Gel, foam or powder: Lather with water and massage on wet faces. Rinse off with water.
Milk: Massage on wet or dry face, rinse off with water or tissue off.

Cleansing Gel, Foam or Powder for oily, combination or normal skin. Cleansing milk for sensitive or dry skin.


Step 2. Toner

Minimize pore, balance pH, sooth and hydrate skin. Wiping with cotton pad further remove excess horny layer.

Wipe with cotton pad lightly or pad on face with fingers.

Essential step for all skin type, for sensitive skin it is not suggested to use cotton pad to wipe your face.


Step 3. Eye Essence, Eye Cream, Eye Gel

Eye is the most delicate area and need extra care with eye care products, never replace with facial moisturizer as it may irritate eye area.

Apply eye essence before eye cream or eye gel as you need. Apply one bean size amount for both eye with the ring fingers, lightly press from the under eye area.

Eye cream usually sooth eye wrinkles, Eye gel with light texture. Never press too hard to avoid wrinkle formation.


Step 4. Serum or Essence

Whitening, anti-aging, hydrating, oil-controlling… Different types of essence or serum fulfill the need skin. Concentrated active ingredients effectively correct skin problems. Light texture in gel or liquid form enhances the penetration of active ingredients.

Smooth all over the face or just focus on the problem area. Lightly pad the face to enhance absorption. Never apply on eye unless it is an eye essence.


Step 5. Moisturizer

Moisturizer attracts moisture deep into the skin cells, which keeps them juicy and plump. Moreover, it seals the moisture in with an occlusive coating. It will keep you looking younger with smoother skin. For oily skin, it is better to use light texture lotion. For dry skin, rich texture cream is much more suitable. Some of the moisturizers added with UV filter or SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from UV damages.

Smooth all over your face after cleanser, toner & serum.


Step 6. Sunblock

Prolonged exposure to the sun like out-door sports, swimming or hiking, you may need extra sunblock. SPF stand for Sun Protection Factor, stand for the amount of radiation which causes redness in skin (Measurement of UVB protection). The higher SPF, the longer time to cause skin redness. PA is a measuring factor created by Japanese to indicate the protection of sunscreen from UVA radiation. More + represents higher protection, PA+++ indicates the highest UVA protection. UVA may cause skin cancer and aging.

Apply 20 minutes before sun exposure, reapply every 2 hours. Blot sweating or water before application.

To remove sunblock, it is better to use cleansing milk or cleansing oil before cleansing foam or cleansing gel.
