Gather hair to create a ponytail while twisting it in anticlockwise to make a bun
put the metal comb into the bun
Use the front tip of comb as a reference point and turn the comb to the direction as shown on the packing instruction
It takes some time to practise (or maybe I was just acting dumb in my first tries) but once you got it it's so easy, comfy and cool to use! My bun stays in place the whole day without fearing any needles would fall out and ruin my hairstyle!

Easy-peasy
I love this bun pin. I can do top-knots in about 5 minutes with this and it holds all day! Highly recommended! However, be warned, it's metal so it's heavy.
