Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) has been used for thousands of years by the aboriginal people of Australia. It is distilled from the leaves using steam. This natural first aid remedy is used for common ailments and infections, especially those that are viral, fungal and bacterial. Regarded as an ideal skin disinfectant, Tea Tree Oil has significant antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Holista® 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil complies with Australian standards for “Oil of Melaleuca” and is standardized to contain no more than 15% 1,8-Cineole and no less than 30% Terpinen-4-ol, the key constituent responsible for tea tree oil’s healing properties.

how to use it
Apply 2-3 times a day to affected areas, or as recommended by a physician. (For external use only.)

Caution :

• Discontinue use if rash or irritation occurs
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with water
• Avoid all topical use of Tea Tree Oil on cats and dogs. These animal species appear to poorly tolerate Tea Tree Oil leading to possible serious toxicity. As well, oral use in pets should also be avoided.
• Do not use full strength for children under 18 months of age or if pregnant – dilute to ½ strength
• Do not use in the presence of dermatitis or other chronic skin conditions
• Keep out of reach of children
