I bought this hoping it can hold my hair for updo but my hairs maybe too thick (I have very long black hair) so I try using this for keeping the hair from my face instead. Surprisingly, these pins do the job perfectly without making hairs flat like the other hair pins. So, if you don't have very long and thick hairs, I highly recommended this.

I tried one on once I received yesterday and it surprised me as it works very well. It can hold your hair tightly. They are the best pins I have ever had. By the way, the little container is also very handy.

Smaller is better...
I was really hoping these would be as good as the small ones, sense I have thick long hair, but they weren't nearly as tight. Yes, they are good, and do hold your hair, but if you want something that locks hair in place, go with the smaller sized ones.
