(7 April, 2006 HONG KONG) "Sa Sa International Holdings Limited ('Sa Sa' or the 'Group', stock code: 0178), Asia's leading cosmetics retailing and beauty services group, is pleased to announce that "Sa Sa" was ranked the most favored brand for the second time in "PRC Consumers' Most Favorable Hong Kong Brands 2006" survey, representing its excellent product and service offerings are widely acknowledged by PRC customers. Survey results also reflect beauty and cosmetics products remain as popular choices of visiting tourists in Hong Kong.
The survey was organized by Hong Kong Association of Chinese Travel Organisers, Sohu.com and a number of professional bodies, and supported by over 20 Hong Kong and China media. Voting forms were collected via printed media in Hong Kong and major provinces in China, as well as retail outlets in Hong Kong since December 2005. Tourists visiting Hong Kong from Greater China cast one vote each for their most favoured Hong Kong brands and voters came from Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Jilin, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan etc.
Sa Sa, accredited "Grand Award "Highest Votes Collected from the PRC Tourists" in the "PRC Tourists' Best Hong Kong Brands in Hong Kong" voting campaign last year, repeated its success this year. Apart from gaining the highest votes in the "Retailing â Cosmetics" category, Sa Sa was elected the most favorable Hong Kong brand by PRC customers with the highest number of votes among all categories. Other renowned Hong Kong brands in the Top 10 list include Broadway, Hong Kong Jockey Club and Times Square etc.
